Assemblyman Charles D. Lavine (D-Glen Cove) recently met with Archbishop Timothy Dolan, (right), leader of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of New York, when Dolan visited Albany for the New York State Catholic Conference Public Policy Day.
The event allows advocates for Catholic bishops and other officials in the state, to push for public policy and legislation that "seeks justice, fairness and charity for all," according to the conference's Web site.
