4. Today at the Glen Cove Public Library: Create a personalized winter scene with your child, age 2-4, using paper, paint and sugar in the Community Room at 10:30 a.m. Practice your advanced Spanish language skills at "Conversations in Spanish" in the Community Room from 7-8:30 p.m.
5. There is an Irish Christmas Celebration today at the Glen Cove Senior Center. Join adult storyteller and performer Jim Hawkins for stories, songs and poetry of Irish holiday cultural traditons: house decorations, lighting of candles, midnight mass, Christmas dinner, the wren celebration and St. Stephan’s Day rituals. The program begins at 1:30 p.m.
