Driver Slams Car into Sea Cliff Avenue Store
Glen Cove EMS: One person hospitalized for non life-threatening injuries.
Correction: Glen Cove EMS confirmed the driver - and only occupant - of the car was a woman. She was taken to a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries. Our original reporting stated it was a man.
A woman was hurt after a single-car accident on Sea Cliff Avenue early Tuesday, Glen Cove Emergency Medical Services said.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., the driver reportedly crashed her car into Glen Cove Beer Distributors at 167 Sea Cliff Avenue, near the intersection of Glen Cove and Sea Cliff Avenues, said EMS First Assistant Chief Matt Venturino.
The woman was treated for non life-threatening injuries at the scene, according to Venturino, who responded to the accident, along with Glen Cove fire and police officials.
She was then transported to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, said police.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by Glen Cove police.

I think maybe 30% of the Glen Cove population do not have licenses...These cops pull over illegal immigrants...Try and find their name in a data base..do issue tickets, but they kind of give up trying to track these people down...GC has turned in to a safe haven city where drives licenses are not really needed for some groups...Cops get so excited when they can actually pull over someone they can get an address and personal info off of to give a court date and ticket... This is just another example of how law abiding citizens get screwed and people who break the law are protected....Not to mention...I have no idea but a large majority of these people who I know personally have crossed over the border illegally, some how got into the system and are able to pay $59.99. for someone to do their taxes and they have showed me checks for 7-9 thousand they get back....How is this fair or even possible...? These people are having the time of their lives while many true citizens are suffering and at the drop of a hat when things get bad they can always just go back home where tons of US dollars are sent. where once land is bought there are no taxes. no insurance for cars...they are just waiting until someone says they have to go and many are more then willing...They know this is not their home and they are using and abusing every system they can..Education. health care, police and food stamps for anchor babies whos social security number is worked to death...
