The weekend's practically here. Time to think football, school events, movies. Not work.

1. Glen Cove boys basketball team will be hosting West Hempstead at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

2. It's a little early to make real plans but you can day dream: Thursday Cruise Night will return starting May 3.

4. The film Yellowstone will be shown at 11 a.m., 2 and 3 p.m. at Garvies Point Museum.
