Glen Cove Hospital is sponsoring a Heart Health Fair on Feb.12 in recognition of American Heart Month.

The three-hour fair will feature free screenings and wellness education, including cholesterol testing, blood glucose monitoring, smoking cessation, blood pressure screening, stroke prevention, diabetes education, nutrition counseling and body-mass index information.

Refreshments will be served. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Toffler Conference Center main entrance.

At 5:30 p.m. today, you can join a webinar sponsored by the American Heart Association and the National Coalition for Women With Heart Disease. Friday is National Wear Red for Women Day, meant to raise awareness and education about women and heart disease.
