Landing Students Raise Money for Cancer Research

As part of the Pennies for Patients fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Diane Conti, a social worker at Landing Elementary School, recently volunteered to be taped to a wall.
The students participated in the Stuck for a Buck fundraiser by purchasing pieces of duct tape for $1 to tape Conti to the wall. While having fun taping a staff member to a wall, the students were able to raise $2,946 for the society.
