Crowds of residents packed the streets of downtown Glen Cove Sunday for the sixth annual Children's Halloween Costume Parade, hosted by Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District (B.I.D.).
Innovative costumes and screams of laughter filled the entire area as children trick-or-treated to participating downtown businesses.
Roads were blocked off during the two-hour-long event, which stretched from School Street, passed through Glen Street and ended on Pulaski.
The event, which was originally set for Saturday, Oct. 29, had been rescheduled to Sunday due to historic October snowfall and slushy, wet weather.
Parade attendees: Snap a photo of your child's creative costume? Upload it for your chance to win $1,031 for charity or a meet-and-greet with Heidi Klum! Click here for more information.
