Question of the Day: Most Dangerous Road
What road in Glen Cove is the most dangerous to drive on?
After yesterday’s two-car collision on Sea Cliff Avenue, we are reminded that not all roads are equally safe. Perhaps there is more traffic or congestion, fewer lanes or more blind spots along a particular road, making it more dangerous to drive along.
A witness and employee of L. Martone & Sons said over the course of one year, there have been three “devastating” car accidents along Sea Cliff Avenue.
In a previous “Question of the Day,” we asked: Is there an intersection in Glen Cove that makes you cringe at the thought of having to drive through it? In a comment, Josef Grahek specifically mentioned the Glen Cove Avenue and Sea Cliff Avenue intersection, and the area around North Shore Farms.
Question: What road in Glen Cove is the most dangerous to drive on? Are there certain roads you choose to avoid altogether? Tell us in the comments.

The most dangerous road is right near my home, because that's where they say most accidents happen.

The intersection of glen cove ave/brewster st and forest ave/walnut rd were on a list of 125 dangerous intersections in nassau county. The plan to add additional red light cameras died out but the county compiled a list of 125 intersections based on high accident report numbers.

new woods rd. very dangerous. long straight road, eager young drivers, as well as of course thoughtless adults, countless pedestrians throughout the day all makes it a recipe for disaster. any cops reading? if so, fill your ticket quota in about an hour parked on this road- and help make it safer for us please.
