Owners, or managers, should search for their business listing and select "Claim It!" (located underneath the photo) in order to make updates to the page. A form will pop up asking for your name, contact information and proof of …

Take Heart: Shape Up for Valentine's

Experts say it's not too late to shed a couple of pounds.

You might be cutting it close, but there's still time to drop a couple of pounds to squeeze into your snazzy new Valentine's Day outfit. Experts at Glen Cove exercise centers say that losing a couple of pounds is well within reach for those trying to look svelte with a last-minute slimdown. Anthony Queliza, a personal trainer and manager at Planet Fitness, said the goal was achievable with a mix of approaches. "You have to have a clean diet, no sweets, lean meats, do some cardio, do some weights. "There's enough time to make it," he said. "Try not to have too much sodium, try increasing water intake. That way you'll be full, not as hungry." And if you've been a little careless, your results may come more quickly. Craig Seltzer of Retro …

Empty in Glen Cove: Restaurant Awaits Replacement

Another restaurant is expected to take the site of the long-vacant East Wok.

The building formerly known as East Wok sits vacant but a new restaurant may take its place. Louie Laino, who is offering the site at 18 N. Cottage Row, said another Asian restaurant is in the works for the site. But the proposal is a way off: it has yet to go to the planning board.

Question of the Day: Supporting Local Business

What store would you pick for a 'Cash Mob' move?

Residents of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, recently turned out to support a local business that had been serving the community since 1857. Jim Black sent out an e-mail to about 40 people, writing, "Let's show our support for one of our local businesses," he wrote. "I challenge everyone to spend AT LEAST $20 at the hardware on the 21st." And they did, with scores of people lining up even before the store opened its doors for the day. What local business would bring out the same support in Glen Cove?
