2013 New York Super Lawyers Recognizes Glen Cove Resident Joseph Capobianco

Glen Cove resident, Joseph Capobianco, a partner at Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco in Garden City, has been named to the New York Super Lawyers list as one of the top attorneys in New York for 2013.  No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are recognized by Super Lawyers for this recognition.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.

The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazines and in leading city and regional magazines across the country. The first Super Lawyers list was published in 1991 and by 2009 the rating service had expanded nationwide. In February 2010, Super Lawyers was acquired by Thomson Reuters, the world's leading source of intelligent information for business and professionals.

Mr. Capobianco practices in litigation, commercial, corporate, bankruptcy and real estate law. He frequently lectures before various professional associations and community organizations.  A life-long resident of Glen Cove, Mr. Capobianco is active in the community. He serves as a Director of the Nassau Health Care Corporation which operates the Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow. He also is on the Board of Managers for the Glen Cove YMCA.
