Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club to Host Zumba & Dancercise Fundraiser

Bring your dancing shoes and bring your friends to the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club’s Zumba & Dancercise Fun Night Out Fundraiser, presented by renowned Zumba Instructor Carol Rodriguez of Carol’s Dance Moves.  The event is taking place at the Club on Friday, March 21 from 7 pm to 9 pm, with several mini-breaks for prizes, raffles and bonding with friends.

Carol Rodriquez of Bayville teaches a variety of Zumba and dancercise classes throughout Long Island for dancers of all ages and all skill levels.  Carol believes in empowering women through choreography and movement and is delighted to be involved in this fundraiser to help the Club’s teen girls attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Keystone Conference, one of the largest, most established youth leadership conferences in the country.

“I have a lot of physical challenges and dance helps me work through it.  Teaching Zumba is my way of being thankful, giving back and inspiring others to overcome their own challenges as well.  My goal every day is to empower and help other women and men feel and look good.   I am thrilled to be helping the teens at Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club with this Zumba fundraiser,” said Carol.
