Bring your dancing shoes and bring your friends to the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club’s Zumba & Dancercise Fun Night Out Fundraiser, presented by renowned Zumba Instructor Carol Rodriguez of Carol’s Dance Moves.  The event is taking place at the Club on Friday, March 21 from 7 pm to 9 pm, with several mini-breaks for prizes, raffles and bonding with friends.

Carol Rodriquez of Bayville teaches a variety of Zumba and dancercise classes throughout Long Island for dancers of all ages and all skill levels.  Carol believes in empowering women through choreography and movement and is delighted to be involved in this fundraiser to help the Club’s teen girls attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Keystone Conference, one of the largest, most established youth leadership conferences in the country.

“I have a lot of physical challenges and dance helps me work through it.  Teaching Zumba is my way of being thankful, giving back and inspiring others to overcome their own challenges as well.  My goal every day is to empower and help other women and men feel and look good.   I am thrilled to be helping the teens at Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club with this Zumba fundraiser,” said Carol.

“The girls and I are truly grateful to Carol for giving us this fun and healthy opportunity to raise a portion of the funds we need for our teens to attend the Keystone Conference in Los Angeles this year,” added GCBGC Teen Director, Antoinette Edmonston.

Advance ticket price is $10 per person and can be purchased online at www.glencovebgc.org.  At door price is $15.  This event is for all ages.  No prior dance experience is required.  Comfortable clothing and sneakers highly recommended.  Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club is located at 113 Glen Cove Avenue, Glen Cove.  For more information on the event, contact GCBGC Marketing Coordinator, Rashmi Nelson at 516-671-8030 ext. 109.  To make a donation to the Keystone Club, contact GCBGC Teen Director, Antoinette Edmonston at 516-671-8030 ext. 107.  To find out more about Carol Rodriguez, visit www.carolsdancemoves.com.
