GLEN COVE HIGH CLASS OF 1973 TO REUNITE

Dear Friends,

Can you believe our 40th reunion is days away. There’s nothing like 40 years to give you some perspective. A 40th high school reunion is not only a reunion with classmates, but also with the self you were all those years ago.

With that being said....our 40th is a Beach Party on the shores of Long Island Sound. We will be at Walls Wharf Restaurant. Although the beach is endless we will have to limit the number of Alumni to 120 since the restaurant has a party room for us in case it rains. Hopefully the weather gods will be with us.

Here is the weekends run down:

Friday Aug 2nd at 9pm is the Welcome Home Icebreaker at Page One on School St.  That is located across from  Staples.  Before the party there is a free concert downtown Glen Cove at 7pm as well as the Feast Of St. Rocco's.  At Page One come and have a drink or two not only with our classmates but GCHS Alumni as well.  There is no upfront costs and you pay for what you drink or eat.

On Saturday Aug 3rd we have been able to get a few tee times at the Glen Cove Golf Course staring at 11:30.  You must pre-register for this event as we are limited on spots. 

At 7pm we will have our 40th Reunion at Walls Wharf in Bayville.  The reunion is on the beach and your dress attire should reflect that Summer Casual Attire(Dress Shorts and Hawaiian Shirts Acceptable).  There will be surprise entertainment by a group led by one of our classmates.

Tickets can be purchased at Page One on Friday night as well as at the door on Saturday night.  Cost is $90 a person and is cash only. If you need more information please call Frank at 516-317-6324.
