Donation to Support the SCO Fashion Show Benefit to Take Place at the Nassau Country Club on May 1, 2013

Glen Cove, NY – April 23, 2013 - SCO Family of Services, the non-profit human service provider based in Glen Cove, New York, today announced the receipt of a $20,000 donation from Bethpage Federal Credit Union in support of SCO's upcoming Fashion Show benefit on May 1st. The benefit, which will be held at the Nassau Country Club, is dedicated to raising funds in support of literacy programs throughout SCO's programs for children and youth.

Bethpage Federal Credit Union, a major supporter of Long Island-based community programs for children, is recognized by SCO as the event's "Literacy Champion" for the generous gift.

he 24th Annual Fashion Show, to be held May 1st at the Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, is a popular fundraising event in support of SCO programs on Long Island and throughout New York City. This year's Fashion Show honors the memory of Pat Brown of Port Washington, Long Island, a long-time SCO volunteer. The theme of this year's event is "Helping Children Read and Succeed." A college-bound teen selected from SCO programs will receive a scholarship at the event.
