Leslie Zimei and the Pearl Street Band July 18th 7 PM Glen Cove Downtown Sounds

Leslie Zimei and the “Pearl Street Band” will take the stage on Friday, July 18th, as part of the Friday night Downtown Sounds concert series, in Glen Cove on Long Island’s historic North Shore Gold Coast.  The series will run every Friday through August 29th.

The group has performed throughout Long Island and at New York City venues for the last 10 years with their repertoire of R & B, blues and jazz.  Featuring a solid, talented three piece horn section, four piece rhythm section and versatile vocalists, "Miss Leslie” personalizes each song with her own sultry, soulful versions.  Performing with her are John Marshall on tenor sax, Leon Petruzzi on trumpet, Terry Nigrelli on trombone, Mike Mattia on keyboard, Tony Tedesco on drums, Don Celenza on guitar and Willie Maiorello on bass and vocals.

Singer-songwriter Lou Coppola and students of The School of Rock Roslyn will also appear.
