Travel Through Time This Summer with Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club

Traveling Through Time is the theme of Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club summer program 2014 which starts Monday, July 7 and runs through Friday, August 15.  Enrollment for the program is now open for currently enrolled members of the After School program.  Enrollment for new members begins Monday, April 21.

Through a variety of activities and programs developed specifically for the Traveling Through Time theme, kids will explore different periods in history as well as look at future concepts and ideas to better understand different eras in time.  These programs are additionally designed to keep kids interested and engaged in learning while having fun with their friends with a well-rounded curriculum including a wide range education plan, sports and outdoor activities, hands on arts & crafts and technology projects,  dance and in-house special themed day events.  “The Traveling Through Time summer program will enable kids to remain energized through supervised activities and more importantly, sharing memorable experiences with their friends”, said Director of Operations, Franca Trunzo.

The summer program is available for children in grades 1 – 8.  To learn more about the program for children in grades 1 – 5, contact Youth Program Director Sara Laskow at 516-671-8030 ext.108.  For the teen summer program for grades 6 - 8, contact Teen Director Antoinette Edmonston at ext. 107.
