Benches on Bridge Street, Courtesy of Glen Cove BID

Spotted: new benches in Glen Cove.

The  benches are part of Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District's streetscape program. New seating was recently installed at the bus stop locations on Bridge Street, near the entrance to the Pratt Blvd. parking area, and at the side of the U.S. Post Office.

The cast-metal and recycled plastic benches are sturdy, weather-resistant, and feature scroll design armrests for comfortable seating, according to the BID.
