Happy Friday Glen Cove. Five Things You Need to Know Today: Weekend Edition features what you have to look forward to today and through the weekend.

1. The fifth annual Blessing of The Nativity Scene will be held in the Village Square tonight at 7 p.m. Hot chocolate will be served. Don't forget to stop by  after the event for free chocolate milk and cookies. 

2. Head down to St. Christopher's Home in Sea Cliff, on Park and Downing Avenue, Sunday for the toy run. 400 biker Santas are expected to ride through around noon. Check back on Monday for photos and story.
