Garvies Point Museum & Preserve, 50 Barry Drive, Glen Cove, NY is once again offering our popular Children’s Summer Workshops, for children ages 5-7 and 8-12, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in July/August.

          The workshops are Nature I: pond study, exploring the woods, flowers & weeds. Nature II: beach ecology, beginner’s birding, investigating butterflies & bugs. Geology: rocks & minerals, erosion & fossils, L.I. formation. Native American: culture, games, fire, pottery, tools, survival skills, legends.
