Honors for LI Suffrage Movement Author

Author Antonia Petrash was recognized by Charles Lavine's office at Bryant Library in Roslyn.

Author Antonia Petrash received a citation from Tara Butler-Sahai on behalf of Assembl. Charles Lavine, D-Glen Cove, during a discussion of her book “Long Island and the Woman Suffrage Movement” at Bryant Library in Roslyn.

The Glen Cove resident and former executive director of the Glen Cove Library spoke about the women on Long Island who worked to secure civil right for all women, including the right to vote for themselves, their daughters and future generations
