Kids' Summer Program Still Open for Enrollment

Glen Cove Boys and Girls Club programs for children and teens run from July 2 to August 10.

The Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club will be running summer programs for children ages 6 through 12 and for teens, with the younger group's activities focused on meeting and learning about different animals and their habitats, according to the club.

Registration is required for both programs and is open to all new and renewing annual members. The cost is $40 per week for six weeks for younger children and $30 for teens.

The pre-teen program will be centered around an animal theme, with trips to a zoo, an aquarium and a farm.

That program runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or includes an extended care option which starts at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 5:30 p.m.

The teen program, open to teens between 13 and 15 years old, will last from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and features its own activities and trips.

Also offered is a teen basketball league, running from 4 to 5:30 p.m. It costs $15 per child.

For questions, call the club at 516-671-8030.

I think the best course of action would be to contact any board member (their emails are listed) andRead More see what he or she has to say about it. That's one source that I would find reliable on this.
