Glen Cove residents will pause on Memorial Day Monday to remember those who gave their lives in defense of our country.
Memorial Day commemorations begin at 11 a.m. at Monument Park (North Lane and School Street). All are invited to honor the memory of the nation's veterans and salute this year’s honoree Bernard Farnan.
The parade begins at noon, stepping off from Cottage Row and Forest Avenue and proceeding down School Street to Glen Street, turning at Pulaski Street and at the arterial highway, passing the reviewing stand at the Glen Cove Library and ending at Charles Street.
