Pet of the Week: Duke
Four-year-old Pit Bull lives with owner Jeremy Conklin in Glen Cove.
Meet Duke, a four-year-old American Pitbull Terrier who resides in Glen Cove with his owner Jeremy Conklin.
"He truly is the sweetest dog ever and a perfect example of how all 'Pits' aren't crazy murderers," Conklin said. "He loves to hang out outside, sunbathing on the lounge chair with my 86-year-old grandmother."
Duke also enjoys sleeping with Conklin's five-year-old cat.

"He loves everyone and everything; he truly is special," Conklin said of his pup. "Everybody who meets him is amazed."
