Third Annual Howl'Oween Pet Parade Set

Pets of all types, shapes and sizes are welcome at the third annual Glen Cove Spooktacular Howl’Oween Pet Parade on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 12 noon. Costumes are optional.

The parade will begin at Pulaski Street and Glen Street and end at Village Square. All participants will be judged and eligible for awards in six categories, including “Best Pet/Owner Costume,” “Smallest Pet,” “Largest Pet,” and more.

Participants gather at City Hall starting at 11 a.m. to register. Participants can also register in advance by downloading a registration form at www.glencove-li.us. There will be goodie bags and participation prizes for all. 

Vendors will be on hand with giveaways and items for sale, and refreshments will also be available. Dog owners will have an opportunity to register their four-legged friends for New York State licenses during the event as well.

The City of Glen Cove Parks & Recreation Dept. is sponsoring the parade in partnership with PETCO of Glen Cove and Scoopy Doo Dog & Geese Waste Removal.
