The City hosted its inaugural "Howl'Oween" Pet Parade Oct. 23 with pets judged for awards in 10 categories, including "Most Unique," "Best Costume" and "Best Pooch Smooch," among others.

The Parks & Recreation Department hosted the event in partnership with Scoopy Doo Dog & Waste Removal and PETCO of Glen Cove.

"It was a huge success, we'd like to thank everybody for turning out," said Jim Coniglione of Scoopy Doo.  "Hosting the event with PETCO was a pleasure, and I also must thank Parks and Recreation along with Director Darcy Belyea, and the Mayor's Office for their support."
