With schools closed on Thursday, families and other residents enjoyed a day in the snow at Morgan Park.
As well over a foot of snow fell on Glen Cove, families and other residents made the best of the winter weather, as they headed out to to enjoy the second snow day of the season.
Glen Cove was transformed into a winter wonderland after Thursday's storm, especially in Morgan Park, which had snow so deep that it made it difficult to walk – forget about sleigh riding; yet that didn't stop some Glen Cove families and others who made the best of things as they were not going to be deterred from having a fun day, especially with schools being closed.
