DEC to Hold Public Meeting on Glen Cove Superfund Site
Meeting on $5.5 million proposed amended remedy to Powers Chemco on Jan. 30 in Sea Cliff.
Public Meeting Location: Sea Cliff Village Main Library, 300 Sea Cliff Avenue, Sea Cliff, NY 11579
The public is invited to the meeting to learn about the $5.5 million amended remedy being proposed by DEC to address contamination related to the Powers Chemco Site (74 Charles Street, Glen Cove), within New York's State Superfund Program. Public comments also are welcome at the meeting, and during a public comment period that runs through February 17, 2014.
