Shelter Animal of the Week: Blinkie

Experiencing Blinkie's overtly cheerful personality is one of many reasons to visit the Glen Cove Animal Shelter.

If there is one animal at the who embodies the word “deserving,” it’s Blinkie.

She is considered a special needs cat, requiring some ongoing medical attention specifically on her mouth.

In no way does Blinkie’s condition hinder her. She is as playful as any other healthy cat, and fully capable of being a loyal and loving companion.

Blinkie is an adult, medium-sized Domestic Short Hair Tortie; her coat is brown- and black-speckled. Another great physical attribute is her bright yellow eyes.

Upon being approached, this affable little gal greets visitors with an quite a grin. Consequently, she loves company and being pet.
