Shelter Animal of the Week: Blossom

For those who may be interested in adopting a pet, but are worried about keeping up with a spunky, energetic animal, then Blossom could be just right for you.

This lovely feline has a more mellow personality. She has a very relaxing quality to her presence, in addition to being super sweet. But do not be fooled by her laid-back persona. Blossom is very friendly, and will slink right over to greet you.

Blossom, along with two other cats, were simply left in a cardboard box outside of Petco in Carle Place. All three appeared to have been house cats that someone could not take care of anymore.

One of the three had escaped from the pet store before being brought to the . Blossom's pal has already been adopted. Now, she is patiently waiting for someone to bring her home as well.

Blossom is just about one, and has a medium coat with a long, bushy dark tail. She has large dark gray spots and amazing yellow eyes.
