Shelter Animal of the Week: Oliver

Oliver is regarded by Glen Cove Animal Shelter staff as one of the most gorgeous cats they have ever cared for.

"You are one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth," said Diane of the to Oliver.

Oliver was left at the shelter's doorstep on Oct. 31, and it appeared the person who found the cat could not care for him.

This friendly feline is anything but camera shy. Following a long, luxurious stretch, he looked right up into the lens.

Oliver is about one and-a-half years old, has a medium coat with a plume tail and very long, white whiskers. He has unusual markings that are astoundingly beautiful. His nose is both black and pink, and the lower half of his face and feet are white.

In addition to his unique physical features, he is very sweet and pleasant.
