The storm took down a few large branches around the city, which city workers set upon and ran through the wood chipper almost as quickly as they fell.
Morgan Park was spared the debris it suffered during the July 18 microburst that took out the historic gazebo, as crews had taken to the trees there after that storm to remove loose limbs.
