Come Celebrate Independence Day
Glen Cove Fourth of July festivities to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

Don't forget to head down to the city's Independence Day Celebration tonight at Morgan Park.
The music festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the first concert of the followed by a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

City officials say the public should remain aware of the following:
- Bags and backpacks are subject to search for contraband, including alcohol and fireworks.

- Parking restrictions will be in effect in the Landing neighborhood tonight.
- There will be no parking all day on Germaine Street, Landing Road or McLoughlin Street west of Carpenter Street.
- Parking will be available in the Morgan Park parking lot on a first come first serve basis and additional parking will be available at the Landing School parking lot on McLoughlin Street.
- Parking for people with handicap parking permits will be available in the Morgan Park parking lot.
