Family Sundays at the Museum

 Glen Cove  See map

Now there's even more reason for families to plan the weekend around a visit to Nassau County Museum of Art. Each Sunday during the big exhibition of works by Marc Chagall, the museum offers docent-led family walk-through of the exhibition and supervised art activities relating to the exhibition for the whole family. The tour begins at 1 p.m. and hands-on art making begins at 1:30 p.m. Be sure to ask for the special families gallery guides, available at no cost in the galleries. Family Sundays at the Museum is free with museum admission, reservations are not needed. Weekends only there is a $2 parking fee (members, free).
