Friends of the Glen Cove Library's Annual Book and Author Luncheon

The Friends of the Glen Cove Library will hold their annual Book and Author Luncheon on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at 1pm at Page One Restaurant in Glen Cove.  The featured guest is Susan Jane Bodell, author of Look For the Hook: A Guide to Finding Happiness, Purpose and Fulfillment One Baby Step at a Time

Susan Jane Bodell has had a diversified professional career, holding various positions in corporations within industries such as finance, education and aviation.  Throughout her life, she has striven to challenge herself to be a better person, to overcome difficulties with a positive spirit, to look for role models that inspire her and to always “look for the hook” and live each day to its fullest.

In 2008, Susan took on the challenge of a new direction while not altering her dedication to her career and decided to share her experience of the power of positive attitude by gathering her experiences into book form.  The goal of her book, Look For the Hook, is to bring hope, purpose and happiness to all who read it.
