Mah Jongg Workshop

PRESENTED BY JACQUI PALATNIK. Want to learn Mah Jongg or sharpen your skills? Let master player Jacqui Palatnik teach you this game that has fascinated people since ancient times and introduce you to the tiles and basic moves of this game of skill, strategy and concentration. Mah Jongg sets will be provided, or you can bring a set if you own one. Patrons must purchase their own Mah Jongg Cards in advance ($7 each). Cards are available for purchase online at www.nationalmahjonggleague.org. Cards may also be ordered through the mail; stop by the Reference desk for an order form. Please note: class size is limited and registration is required. Registration begins Monday, June 4 for Glen Cove residents and Monday, June 11 for all others, space permitting. Please call or stop by the Reference desk to register.
