Morgan Park Summer Music Festival

Patriotism takes center stage at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival as the United States Air Force Band of Liberty closes out the 2012 season with a rousing show on Sunday, August 26.  The concert, which is free to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park.

One of the nation’s most distinguished military band ensembles, the United States Air Force Band of Liberty is a select group of professional airmen-musicians who support the global Air Force mission by providing outstanding musical services for official military, recruiting, and community events, and by fostering America's rich national heritage. It has been performing for military and civilian audiences throughout the New England region for more than 30 years.

“It is always a treat to have one of our military bands play at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival and I am thrilled that we were able to bring this outstanding ensemble of Air Force musicians to Glen Cove this summer,” said Marge Suozzi, executive board chairwoman.
