Morgan Park Summer Music Festival Hosts Rod Stewart Tribute Band -- Forever Young

On Sunday, August 8, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival hosts the always popular Rod Stewart Tribute Band, Forever Young.  The event, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m.

From Maggie May, Hot Legs, Tonight's the Night on to classics of the Great American Songbook, Forever Young's electrifying show captures all the facets of Rod Stewart's amazingly varied musical career — from Top of the Charts rock hits of the 60s and 70s to the romantic, enduring classics of Cole Porter, George Gershwin and much more. Returning to Long Island as part of its 2010 national tour, Forever Young is headed by Rick St. James (Rod Stewart, lead vocals) and includes back-up vocalists and musicians on guitar, keys, piano and drums.

So come down to Morgan Park this weekend and enjoy a wonderful evening of family entertainment under the stars.  Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic if you wish.  Children are welcome.  Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Morgan Park.  Morgan Park is located on Germaine Street at the end of Landing Road in Glen Cove.  In the event of rain, the concert will be held in St. Patrick's Parish Hall, Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove.  For further information, call (516) 671-0017.  Email us at morganparkmusic@yahoo.com or visit us at www.morganparkmusic.org.
