Morgan Park Summer Music Festival Presents A Salute to the Eagles

The stellar Eagles tribute band, Hotel California, takes center stage at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival on Sunday, July 22.  The concert, which is free to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in . 

Hotel California has captured fans throughout the world by faithfully reproducing the Grammy Award-winning sounds of the Eagles. The ensemble’s dynamic performances incorporate renowned vocal harmonies with authentic instrumentation. Group members include Dicky (vocals, mandolin, pedal steel, harmonica, lead rhythm, and slide, acoustic and electric guitar), Wade (vocals, keyboard, acoustic guitar, percussion), Phil (drums, percussion), Scott (vocals, bass, special effects), and Steve (vocals, banjo, lead rhythm and acoustic, double neck and 122-string guitar).

“I am pleased to welcome Hotel California to the Morgan Park stage.  They are a phenomenal band that always delights the audience,” said Marge Suozzi, executive board chairwoman.

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that has been providing free concerts in the park for 53 years.  The shows are completely funded through the generous donations that are received from businesses and individuals.   Morgan Park Summer Music Festival has received a generous donation from Nancy and Sandy Epstein to support this concert. Taxpayer money is not used to bring this high caliber talent to the Festival year after year. 

So come on down to Morgan Park Summer Music Festival for an exciting evening of music under the stars.  Morgan Park overlooks the harbor on Germaine Street between Landing Road and McLoughlin Street in Glen Cove.  Bring chairs or blankets, picnic if you wish.  Children are welcome.  Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Morgan Park.  In the event of rain, the concert will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove.    For further information, call 516-671-0017;
