Morgan Park Summer Music Festival Presents Bye Bye Birdie

On Sunday, July 17, Morgan Park Summer Music Festival will present Plaza Production’s performance of Bye Bye Birdie, a show sure to delight the entire family.  The show is free to the public and will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park.

 

            Hearthrob singer Conrad Birdie is about to be inducted into the army. Across the nation teenage girls are in mourning — until Conrad shows up in Sweet Apple, Ohio to film his farewell appearance and bestow a kiss upon one lucky fan. Plaza Productions, the island’s leading theatrical touring company, presents this Tony Award-winning show that features songs such as What’s the Matter with Kids Today?, One Last Kiss, Honestly Sincere and Put on a Happy Face.
