U2 Tribute Band to Perform at Morgan Park on August 22

2U, the world’s second best U2 band, takes center stage at Morgan Park Summer Music Festival on Sunday, August 22. The concert, which is free to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Park. U2’s fabulous songs, including "Pride,” "Vertigo," "With or Without You," "New Years Day," "One,” "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Elevation" and "Get On Your Boots," are faithfully performed with exquisite attention to detail by 2U, the leading U2 tribute band. Musicians channeling Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. recreate the authentic experience of a U2 concert. Presenting a year-‘round performance schedule at prestigious venues through the country, 2U has been described as "A Beatlemania-like production, re-tooled for the legendary band, U2." So come on down to Morgan Park Summer for an exciting evening of music under the stars. Morgan Park overlooks the harbor on Germaine Street between Landing Road and McLoughlin Street in Glen Cove. Bring chairs or blankets, picnic if you wish. Children are welcome. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Morgan Park. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove.
