GCHS Grad Paints Mural for Brooklyn Children's Museum

Evan Goodman's whimsical mural will remain for up to three years.

Evan Goodman, a 2008 Glen Cove High School graduate, has been commissioned to draw a playful mural at the Brooklyn Children's Museum.

Evan graduated valedictorian from the School of Visual Arts' School of Illustration last year. The museum reached out to him to create a whimsical illustrated mural that will be up for 3 years as a museum renovation goes on behind it.

You can watch him complete the mural and discuss the creative process behind his unique whimsical style in the attached Youtube video.

Artistic talent runs in the Goodman family, as Evan's sister, Elsie, is an award-winning photography student in Melissa Johnides’ class at Glen Cove High School.
