No. 96: Learn the Art of Sculpting
Garvies Point Museum offers a sculpture workshop for adults.
You don't have to be a master potter to appreciate the craft of sculpting; and you can learn the tricks of the trade right here in Glen Cove.
Sculpture Workshop meets on Thursday afternoons from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with instructor, award-winning sculptor Elsi Nydorf.
The class draws adult participants from all over Long Island – some with no artistic background – who learn to shape clay, wood, plaster, and stone materials into works of art.
