Oct. 7: Weekend Edition

Happy Friday, Glen Cove. There's plenty of opportunity to get involved in the community today. Keep informed by visiting Glen Cove Patch throughout the day. 

1. Glen Cove’s Annual is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your household trash that is too unsafe or hazardous for regular disposal to on Morris Avenue. Some approved items include: small aerosol cans, consumer batters, pool chemicals, car tires and pesticides.

2. will be held at the at 7:15 p.m. Admission is $4. All proceeds  go to charities in the area.

3. Weekend Weather Report: Expect plentiful sunshine this weekend with highs in the mid 60s.

4. Bring the kids to . Each Sunday, the museum offers a 1 p.m. docent-led walk-through of the exhibition and, beginning at 1:30 p.m., supervised art activities for the whole family.
