On Aug. 30 - two days after Tropical Storm Irene hit Glen Cove - the cast, crew, and over 200 extras filled to film a concert scene to be used in an upcoming episode of the USA Network hit series, Royal Pains.
The show, which is based in the Hamptons, follows Hank Lawson (Mark Fuerstein) who is the “doctor on demand” and becomes the new concierge doctor to the rich and famous.
Numerous takes and scenes were filmed from different angles throughout the day under the leadership of Michael Watkins, the director of Royal Pains.
