String Trio Visits for Senior Center's Polish Day

Brooklyn's Slavic Arts Ensemble played at the Glen Cove Senior Center Friday.

Three members of the Slavic Arts Ensemble, based in Brooklyn, were at the Glen Cove Senior Center

played selections of Polish chamber music for an hour as audience members looked on, some gently swaying their heads to the melodies.

The president of Glen Cove's Polish National Home, Elizabeth Majewski, helped organize the event and was in attendance.

"This is beautiful performance," she said.

The Center's executive director, Carol Waldman, expressed her gratitude to the organization for its partnership.

"We're so lucky to have this relationship with the Polish Club," said Waldman.
