Sunday, August 29: Ashanti surprised her hometown and joined Marvin Floyd on stage for the season's final Downtown Sounds concert, and Patch spotlighted 100 years of iconic history for Glen Cove Mansion.

Monday, August 30: Incoming sixth and ninth graders attended orientations at their respective schools, and Patch featured the cheapest gas prices in Glen Cove.

Tuesday, August 31: Patch featured a dozen things to do in Glen Cove for under $20, and Four Season tribute band headlined the season's final Morgan Park concert.

Wednesday, September 1: Glen Cove seniors learned to use new voting machines, and Hurricane Earl threatened to pummel Long Island.
