11 a.m. Meet the birds.  Volunteers For Wildlife offer a special program detailing the beautiful birds that inhabit Long Island.  Learn all about migration, feathers, flight and more. Glen Cove Public Library.

12 p.m. Backyard fundraiser carnival. All proceeds to benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation. Over 20 Carnival Games, Dunk Tank, Prizes, Cotton Candy, Raffles, Food and Drinks. Open to everyone, Great Family Fun Day. All games and food on $1 each. 57 Sugar Maple Lane, Glen Cove.

7:30 p.m. The Morgan Park Summer Music Festival hosts a showcase of young talents from across the North Shore. The audience will then be treated to an evening of arias, featuring bass soloist Peter Maravell, accompanied by Vladimir Polezhayev on piano.
