Annual Tasting Draws Largest Crowd Yet

More than 200 people browsed myriad dinner and dessert booths at the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce's annual Culinary Delights Monday, making it the best-attended in the event's 16 years.

The Glen Cove Mansion hosted 42 restaurants and vendors from Glen Cove, Sea Cliff and other Gold Coast locales. Glen Covers were joined by others from across the Island and Queens to enjoy samplings of the eateries' best offerings.

The event raises money for local scholarships and supports the chamber's activities and networking, according to president Mary Stanco.

"It was a wonderful event. Everyone should come next year, it gets bigger and bigger every year," Stanco said.
