Big Plans in Works for 30th Oyster Festival
Food, vendors and fireboat John J. Harvey will make return for Oct. 19-20 weekend.

There are big plans for the 30th anniversary of the Oyster Festival, now just five weeks away.
Public officials and dignitaries are announcing details of the big weekend, set for Oct. 19 and 20th.
At a press conference this morning, set against the glorious backround of Oyster Bay Harbor, public officials and dignitaries said several tall ships and the ever-popular FDNY fireboat John J. Harvey will be attending this year. Hundreds of vendors will be present along with scores of food concessions.
