While popular marina hangout spot sits vacant at Brewer's Marina this winter, it appears Glen Cove will see a new destination eatery there this summer.
Michelle Capobianco of says her listing at 78 Shore Road has been rented out to a Bayville restaurateur who plans a rechristening as The Boathouse at Brewer's.
With the marina seeking to increase boat traffic, the restaurant will give boaters the ability to park at a nearby slip and stop in for a bite.
"It has endless possibilities," said Capobianco, who says the restaurant has been vacant for eight months.
"We also may see kayak and bicycle rentals at the garage space, so we'll actually have a destination to visit down there," she said.
