The Glen Cove Movie Theater will reopen in April after nearly a year in limbo, reports Newsday

I hope they show quality movies like the Roslyn and Port theaters. In the last gasp of our movie house they were showing the dregs catering mostly to teenagers which attracted problems needing police assistance. Not for me and my family if they don't have a different business model. I'll sadly continue to go elsewhere.

Thank you former Mayor Suozzi, Mr. Di Noto and Mr. Levinson for having faith in Glen Cove and beginning the process to open our Movie Theater again. Hopefully, this will be the re-birth of our downtown area. Now lets get some appropriate businesses going to enhance the theater experience...some windows to shop, some merchandise to see. A real, thriving downtown!!

Hey I Agree With Ms AJ We Really Need To Bring Back Some Life Into Our Downtown Area You Know Open Up A Few More Stores Or Maybe A Little Shopping Center Something To Attract The Glen Cove Community But Having The Movie Theater Open Back Up In April With Some New Features To It Is Definitely A Way To Build The Popularity Back Up Downtown I Love The Idea!
